Adam is 15 years old and lives in Southern California with his parents, younger brother and sister, and dog Lucy. He has always enjoyed school, especially math and science and English and language. He has consistently scored within the top 1 - 4% on nationally standardized tests, and currently has a 4.5 grade point average. Although he has oftentimes been called a “genius” by other students, Adam resists this title and insists he just likes to learn and works hard.

He currently plays on his school’s football and basketball teams. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing video games, drawing, and playing drums. Adam would like to major in mechanical engineering when he goes to college, because he “enjoys building things.”

At age 11, with encouragement from his parents, Adam began writing a book based on his school, home, and experiences with his friends in order to help other students. This book is the result of years of observations, manipulations (of his parents and others), and secrets that Adam has finally agreed to share in order to help students improve their performances in these areas
